Festészettel gyerekkoromtól fogva foglalkozom, eleinte az általános iskolai rajzszakkör lelkes résztvevője voltam, majd többször is részt vettem a zebegényi Ifjúsági művésztelepen, majd egyetemi éveim alatt is rendszeresen visszatértem a festészethez.

Mindig is az olajjal való festészet vonzott, majd innen jutottam el az olajpasztell technikáig, ahonnan egyfajta vegyes technikához léptem tovább: képeim olajpasztellel és olajfestékkel készülnek vegyesen. Sokszor alkalmazok színes aláfestéseket a kontrasztok erősítésére, a színek intenzitásának növelésére. Vászon alapra dolgozom a legszívesebben, főleg közepes méretű képeket festek, a kép méretarányait a témához igazítom. Témáim főleg táji, látványi ihletésűek, sokszor filozófiai, vallási problémakörökkel, miközben a kép megkonstruálása során absztrakt képépítési rendszerbe foglalom a látványt. Elsősorban az erős színek, és azok együtthatása ami foglalkoztat, a vásznon igyekszem elvonatkoztatni a látványtól és újfajta látványvilágot létrehozni, a tiszta szín foltokat sokszor fekete kontúrral emelem ki. A 19. századi impresszionizmus van rám a legnagyobb hatással, többek között, különösen Monet, Touluse-Lautrec, Van Gogh, William Blake munkássága, valamint foglalkoztatnak a képzőművészeti „izmusokban” sokszor felbukkanó filozófiai, vallási kérdéskörök feldolgozási lehetőségei.

About me

I have been involved in painting since my childhood. Initially, I was an enthusiastic participant in my elementary school’s art club, and later, I attended the Youth Art Camp in Zebegény multiple times. During my university years, I regularly returned to painting.

I have always been drawn to oil painting, which eventually led me to explore the oil pastel technique. From there, I progressed to a mixed technique, where I combine oil pastels and oil paints in my works. I often use colored underpainting to enhance contrasts and intensify colors. I prefer working on canvas, mostly creating medium-sized paintings, adjusting the proportions to suit the subject. My themes are primarily inspired by landscapes and visual impressions, often incorporating philosophical and religious themes. During the construction of my paintings, I integrate the visual elements into an abstract compositional system. I am particularly fascinated by strong colors and their interactions. On the canvas, I strive to detach from direct representation and create a new visual experience. I often emphasize pure color patches with black contours. My greatest influence comes from 19th-century Impressionism, particularly the works of Monet, Toulouse-Lautrec, Van Gogh, and William Blake. Additionally, I am deeply interested in the ways philosophical and religious questions frequently emerging in art movements can be explored within painting.
